State Patrol: Elk River Man Killed In Kanabec Co. Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An Elk River man is dead after a crash early Saturday morning in Kanabec County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Sixty-three-year-old Clifford Smith's pickup truck went off the road at about 3:30 a.m. on Highway 65 near 145th Avenue, just north of Brunswick Township.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The state patrol is investigating, and say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
