St. Cloud Woman Becomes 1st Model In Hijab On 'Vogue' Cover
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A model from St. Cloud is the first woman to wear a hijab on the cover of "Vogue" magazine.
Halima Aden, 19, will be the star of the June issue of "Vogue Arabia."
The Somali-American first appeared in the April issue of the magazine, but this her first cover.
Aden says she hopes people will eventually just see a woman when they look at her, and not notice her hijab.
