Coronavirus Updates: The Latest COVID-19 Headlines From April 25, 2020

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Gov. Tim Walz has debuted a new website where Minnesotans can find a COVID-19 testing site near them.

Here are the latest headlines in the COVID-19 pandemic:

  • 9:37 p.m.: St. Paul Fire Department received 7,348 donated face masks.
  • 6:49 p.m.: The Minnesota Nurses Association issued a statement saying they have "serious concerns" with the governor's Executive Order 20-46.
  • 5:07 p.m.: Gov. Tim Walz today signs Executive Order 20-46, authorizing certain out-of-state healthcare professionals to provide aid in Minnesota during the COVID-19 peacetime emergency.
  • 3:03 p.m.: Wisconsin health officials said that 331 tests for COVID-19 have come back positive in the last 24 hours, the largest single-day rise since the outbreak started.
  • 2:25 p.m.: Wisconsin has now tested more than 60,000 people. After 62,825 tests, 5,687 people have been found to have the disease, and 266 have died.
  • 12:30 p.m.: Roughly 60 people were at the governor's residence protesting Minnesota's stay-at-home order around noon on Saturday.
  • 11 a.m.: Saturday's update from the Minnesota Department of Health says 244 more Minnesotans have COVID-19, and 23 more people have died.
  • 10:40 a.m.: Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith joined a group of 22 Democratic senators in sending a letter asking for future legislation to address the coronavirus pandemic includes resources to meet domestic and sexual violence survivors' "urgent housing needs."
  • 9:16 a.m.: Caribou Coffee workers say they plan to protest unsafe working conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic in cars outside of a Roseville drive-through on Monday.
  • 8:58 a.m.: U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar helped write a letter calling on agencies to address problems in meat supply chains during the COVID-19 pandemic.
