Cold Spring Man Rescued After Being Trapped In A Corn Bin

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Cold Spring man is recovering after being trapped in a corn bin Tuesday night.

According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, officers received a call just after 10 p.m. of a man trapped in St. Joseph Township.

Upon arrival, police found 53-year-old Douglas Fuchs trapped in a corn bin.

Officials rescued him from his entrapment and he was transported to St. Cloud Hospital. He is recovering after suffering non-life threatening injuries.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
