2 Killed In Norman County Crash Identified
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An elderly man and woman are dead after a head-on crash in Norman County Monday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The state patrol says at 3:04 p.m. a Chevrolet Impala was traveling northbound on Highway 9 near milepost 187 when it crossed over the center line and hit a truck head-on.
The occupants of the Impala, identified as 88-year-olds Carlton Roed and Hazel Road of Mentor, were killed in the crash.
The truck driver, 72-year-old Larry Larson of Twin Valley, was not injured in the crash.
More information is expected to be released by the state patrol.
