Car Hits, Kills Pedestrian In NW Miami-Dade

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Authorities shut down a roadway near an intersection in northwest Miami-Dade Thursday morning following a deadly accident.
As of 9 a.m., NW 103rd Street near NW 12th Avenue remained closed.
Just two hours before, a 71-year old man was crossing the street when a car hit and killed him. Miami-Dade Police the driver did stay at the scene.
Chopper4 was over the scene where a yellow tarp could be seen covering a body laid out in the roadway.
A dark colored vehicle could be seen stopped near the body.
Miami-Dade Police is investigating the incident.
