Investigators found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound inside of a car that had crashed in an alley near Century Boulevard.
Detectives did not have any description of a suspect other than that the fled the are while riding a bicycle and was last seen near 18th Street and Grand Avenue.
It happened at about 11 p.m. at a parking lot in the 13900 block of Valley View Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Grimmway Farms, which made and packaged the organic carrots, issued the recall on Saturday after nearly 40 cases were recorded in 18 states.
Investigators arrested the 46-year-old man after an undercover operation revealed he was trying to meet a minor for sexual purposes.
