Thanks to a multi-million dollar federal grant, the Dequindre Cut, a popular trail for cyclists and runners in Detroit, will now be expanded.
The Greenway is an area with nature, art, and recreation connecting the Detroit Riverfront to Michigan Central and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Officials say the connection through Hamtramck will feature a two-way bike lane on the west side of Joseph Campau from Carpenter Avenue to Hamtramck Drive.
