Detroit Tigers Roster Report 4-30-12

--RHP Doug Fister (strained left rib cage muscle) went on the 15-day disabled list April 8. He felt abdominal discomfort during an April 17 bullpen session, and he was shut down for a week. Fister had another bullpen session April 26 with no problems. He is scheduled for a rehabilitation start May 2 for Class AAA Toledo. If all goes well, he will rejoin Detroit for its road trip to Seattle (May 7-9).

--RHP Luis Marte (left hamstring strain) went on the 15-day disabled list April 3.

--RHP Al Alburquerque (right elbow surgery in December 2011) went on the 15-day disabled list April 3, and he was transferred to the 60-day DL on April 24. He won't be back with the Tigers before midseason.

--C/DH Victor Martinez (microfracture left knee surgery in January 2012) went on the 60-day disabled list March 12. He will miss the entire season.
