A Halloween Treat
DENVER (CBS4) - Things are looking good for the last day of October. On the weather map we have a big low pressure trough over the Pacific Northwest. At the same time high pressure is still hanging in over the southern stretches of the nation. Colorado will be sandwiched in between these two features on Halloween. This will make for a windy day in the mountains and a breezy day on the plains. For eastern Colorado Monday temperatures will be warming into the 70s and 80s. For the mountains and the west highs will rise into the 60s and 70s.
For the ghosts and goblins gathering candy there is nothing spooky in the weather forecast. Trick or treat weather will be mostly clear and breezy with temps ranging from 60 to 52 during the early evening.

Starting the month of November on Tuesday will see a cool down with temperatures in the 60s along with mostly sunny skies. A normal high this time of year in Denver is 60 degrees!
A surge of cool , moist air oozed into the north-eastern plains early on Sunday. Take a look at the difference from the CBS4 Denver Library cam to the CBS4 Mountain cam at I-70 and the Evergreen Parkway at 8:30 AM on Sunday.
