Though he's a tad older, Dale Sveum fit in perfectly with Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer at his introductory press conference Friday morning.

The Cubs welcomed new manager Dale Sveum as the franchise's 58th manager at an introductory press conference Friday at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs are set to make the official announcement Friday that Dale Sveum will be the team's new manager.
Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers won the NL Cy Young Award in a runaway Thursday.
Dale Sveum is officially the new manager of the Chicago Cubs. Sveum comes to the Cubs from the Milwaukee Brewers where he was the club's hitting coach.
Commissioner Bud Selig said owners approved two additional wild-card teams for the postseason, meaning 10 of the 30 teams make the playoffs.
With reports indicating the Cubs have offered their managerial position to Brewers hitting coach Dale Sveum, former Brewers radio broadcaster Cory Provus joined The McNeil and Spiegel Show to discuss the potential hire.
From all appearances it looks like Dale Sveum will be the new Cub's Manager. All indications point to that following a series of events from Wednesday.
