Warmer weather ahead for Chicago area this weekend
Warmer temperatures are expected to arrive in the Chicago area this weekend and stay through next week.
Southwesterly breezes will warm temperatures above freezing in Chicago on Saturday for the first time in a full week. We'll enjoy lots of sunshine Saturday, then increasing clouds Sunday as highs rise into the 40s.
Next week starts dry with unseasonably warm temperatures on Monday, but periodic chances of light rain begin Tuesday, potentially turning to a few snow showers on Thursday and Friday. Overall, no major rain or snow accumulation is expected next week.
