Teen Charged In Fatal Stabbing At Jackson Square MBTA Station

BOSTON (CBS) – A 16-year-old Dorchester teen has been charged with murder for the fatal stabbing of another teen near the Jackson Square MBTA station.

The incident occurred shortly after 3p.m. on Thursday.

Prosecutors said an argument between the suspect Ronaldo Cepeda and 17-year-old Mason Raymond escalated into a fight.

Police responded to Centre Street in Jamaica Plain where they found Raymond stabbed in the chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Police arrested Cepeda at 2a.m. on Friday. He was arraigned Friday at Roxbury District Court, and is being held without bail.

The incident remains under investigation.
