No Snoozing: 'Ruggie' Alarm Clock Gets Sleepy Users Out Of Bed

VANCOUVER (CBS) -- Have trouble waking up in the morning? This new alarm clock might be a step in the right direction.

The Ruggie looks just like a rug, but it has built-in speakers. The alarm only shuts off after someone stands on the rug's "guaranteed snooze proof sensor" for three seconds.

It can also be programmed to deliver the sleeper's favorite motivational quotes.

The Ruggie is expected to sell for $99 starting in September, according to the company's Kickstarter page.
