I-Team Sources: Milford Police Chief Michael Pighetti Placed On Paid Leave
MILFORD (CBS) – Milford Police Chief Michael Pighetti has been placed on paid leave, according to WBZ I-Team sources.
The town has hired a private investigator to look into allegations that Pighetti, who does not have police powers, pulled over a citizen and ordered officers to give the driver a ticket.
Town selectmen have ordered an investigation into the incident.
Lt. James Falvey has been appointed as interim acting chief.
