Somerville Man Dies In New Hampshire Rock Climbing Accident

LINCOLN, N.H. (CBS) – A Somerville man was killed in a rock climbing accident in New Hampshire.

Officials said 34-year-old Benjamin Kessel was climbing Cannon Cliff in Franconia Notch Sunday when a large rock the size of a refrigerator came loose.

The rock tore trough Kessel's climbing gear and he fell about 150 feet.

Kessel's body was recovered in a group of small trees.
