Lawsuit claims JetBlue used customers’ personal data to tailor ticket prices

A new proposed class‑action lawsuit accuses JetBlue of collecting customers’ personal data without consent and using it to set individualized ticket prices. The complaint, filed by a New York resident, alleges the airline tracked his information while he was booking on its website and adjusted fares specifically for him. JetBlue told CBS News it does not use personal data to determine ticket prices.
