Kaufman County capital murder suspect captured in Arizona
A man wanted for a triple capital murder case in Texas was arrested in Arizona, according to the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say Diego Rodriguez is accused of shooting and killing 18‑year‑old Casey Leatherwood and injuring 18‑year‑old Luis Velez in a March incident. Authorities plan to extradite Rodriguez back to Texas to face charges.
