Harvey Weinstein to avoid fourth trial as prosecutors drop rape charge
Manhattan prosecutors say they are dropping a rape charge against Harvey Weinstein after the accuser said she would not testify again. The woman had accused Weinstein of raping her in a Manhattan hotel room in 2013. Weinstein was convicted of the charge in 2020, but an appeals court overturned the conviction.
