A Highland Village fire chief resigned from his post after being arrested during a prostitution sting in Lewisville.
The arrests came when the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office Human Trafficking Unit and its partner organization, The Net, conducted a "sex trafficking demand suppression operation," a news release said.
On March 28 and 29, multiple federal, state and local law enforcement agencies participated in a Joint Prostitution Demand Suppression Operation in Denton County.
