McKINNEY (CBS11) - A Plano High School baseball player accused of sexually assaulting a child had his case moved back to adult court Thursday.

A judge had moved Zach Holifield's case to juvenile court Wednesday.  That's because some of the allegations dated back to before Holifield turned 17-years-old, but the judge changed his mind Thursday.

Also Thursday, the judge reduced Holifield's bail from $600,000 to $250,000.

Holifield's attorney, Pete Schulte, says the judge's reason is it was too early in the case and pointed to the fact Holifield has yet to be indicted on the charges.

The teen's accused of sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl who attended his mother's daycare.

Schulte says Holifield's family is still trying to gather money for his bail.
