Off-Duty Dallas Officer Robbed At Gunpoint
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – An off duty police officer was forced at gunpoint to withdraw money from an ATM Sunday, Dallas Police spokesman James Walton said.
At about 5 a.m., a suspect approached the officer and a person he was with in the 2200 block of Medical District Drive and ordered them to drive to an ATM. Walton said the suspect entered a silver 90s-era Nissan Sedan, where a white female with "shoulder length brown hair" awaited behind the wheel.
The two sped away without injuring either victim. Walton said anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Det. Jim Gallagher at 214.671.3661.
