FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) — Firefighters found the body of an elderly man in a burning house early Saturday morning, officials say.

Fire crews responded to the 3900 block of Oscar Avenue around 3:10 a.m. regarding a house fire. While battling the blaze, firefighters found the body of a man who officials say is about 90 years old.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Officials say the man lived alone and rarely went outside, according to neighbors.
