Dallas Police To Issue Citations For Jaywalking
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police say that jaywalking around the downtown area and other parts of the city is becoming too dangerous, especially around the Frank Crowley Courthouse and they plan to do something about it.
Effective immediately officers will star issuing citations to jaywalkers as part of an initiative to get people to use crosswalks.
Pedestrians crossing the street outside of the designated crosswalks is considered Jaywalking.
