Conference Center Named For Lee and Ramona Bass
A well-known North Texas name is being honored in the Texas Hill Country.
Friday, Texas Parks and Wildlife is naming a conference center for Lee and Ramona Bass. The billionaire Ft. Worth couple has donated a million dollars for the center at the Kerr Wildlife Management Area, 80 miles northwest of San Antonio. Lee Bass was chairman of the Parks and Wildlife Commission from 1995-to-2001 and was named chairman emeritus by Governor Perry. Ramona Bass has co-chaired the Ft. Worth Zoological Association for 20 years.
