17 people displaced after fire burns three townhomes in El Monte

It happened just after noon near the 19800 block of W. Nordhoff Place, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
"The methamphetamine was determined to be transported for the purpose of sales," SBSD deputies said.
The incident occurred at around 7:40 p.m. outside of a home in the 15000 block of Haskins Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
