2 dead in California school shooting
Gunshots rang out at the start of classes at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California. At least two students are dead and three others wounded. As Jonathan Vigliotti reports, the suspect is a 16-year-old student.
Oregon coach disarms, hugs high school student
New surveillance video shows a high school coach’s encounter with a student armed with a shotgun. The student brought the gun to Parkrose High School in Portland, Oregon last spring. Football coach Keanon Iowe saw the student and disarmed him. Coach lowe then grabbed the young man and hugged him.
Study finds school shooters showed warning signs
New analysis released by the U.S. Secret Service found most school shooters showed warning signs and that the tragedies could have been prevented. Many of the attackers made their intentions known ahead of time. Jeff Pegues reports.
