Sam Springsteen, the 26-year-old son of Bruce Springsteen and Patty Scialfa, was sworn in Tuesday with a group of 14 new members of the Jersey City Fire Department. CBSN New York gets details from reporter Christina Fan.
The legendary performer and wife Patti Scialfa were at the ceremony to cheer Sam on.
"I don't want my kids to have to dig themselves out of my hole," the musician told "CBS This Morning."
