The 2-11 Kansas City Chiefs are having a very disappointing season. It's been made worse by the murder-suicide of teammate Jovan Belcher two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the 3-10 Raiders have lost six straight and would love nothing more than to beat their rivals in the home finale in front of their loyal fans.
The Sunday Night Game is supposed to be the week's best game, and the NFL nailed this one. The San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots are two of the best teams in their respective conferences and both enter the game playing well. Some have even picked these teams to eventually meet in the Super Bowl, making this game must-see television.

Disgruntled Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain is back after his two-game suspension. Head coach Dennis Allen will use him as a backup to Omar Gaither and on special teams. Raiders defensive tackle Richard Seymour and cornerback Michael Huff were both limited in practice as they recover from various ailments.
Brandon Jacobs was suspended by the 49ers after his continued complaints on Twitter about his lack of playing time. There are two sides to every story and there was some validity to Jacobs' grumblings, but his decision as to how to handle the situation gave the team the perfect chance to release him, so it's almost a surprise that they chose to only suspend him.
San Francisco linebacker Aldon Smith has three games left to get three more sacks and tie the single season record set by Michael Strahan. Based on the upcoming teams he will face, Smith will have a very good chance to put his name in the record books.
The 3-10 Raiders continue to make roster cuts to players who aren't performing as the front office expected. This week featured the release of cornerback Ron Bartell and the reinstatement of disgrunted linebacker Rolando McClain. There is also speculation that long-time punter Shane Lechler will not return next season given his advanced age and high salary.
