49ers' Slow Start Too Much To Overcome, Fall To Ravens In Super Bowl

After trailing in every game this post season, the 49ers magic finally ran out. It looked like they might be able to pull it off again, but ran into an opponent that was able to make one more big play than them. No Reason To Feel Sorry For Alex Smith

One of the big stories this entire season, which has only been magnified by San Francisco making it to the Super Bowl, is the bad luck of Alex Smith. In the midst of his best season as a professional he suffered a concussion that some feel cost him his starting spot. These same people have called it unfair for him to be demoted in such a manner, but not only was his injury not the reason, but no matter how you look at it, the decision is the best for the team and for Smith.

Ravens Look To Shut Down 49ers' Pistol Read Option

If Baltimore wants to hoist the Lombardi trophy on Sunday, they'll need to shut their offense down. That's easier said than done.
