Man Dies Of Gunshot Wound Along Road In Walnut Grove
WALNUT GROVE (CBS13) - Authorities are searching for clues after a man was shot and killed in Walnut Grove on Sunday night.
Just after 10 p.m., emergency dispatchers received a call reporting that a man in his 50s was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his lower abdomen, according to Sacramento County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Tony Turnbull.
First responders found the man and tried to save him. A medical helicopter was also requested, but the victim died before it could arrive.
A motive to the shooting has not been established.
