Washington Co. Motorcycle Crash Claims Ohio Man's Life

BUFFALO TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- An Ohio man is dead following a motorcycle accident late Friday afternoon in Washington County.

The Washington County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 43-year-old Dewey Goss of Medway, Ohio.

The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Route 40 in Buffalo Township.

According to the Coroner's Office, Goss was headed eastbound on Route 40 on his Suzuki motorcycle when he lost control at a bend and hit a guiderail post.

Goss was taken by medical helicopter to Washington Hospital where he was pronounced dead after 7 p.m.

The Coroner's Office reports that investigators believe speed may have played a factor in the crash.
