Report: Fan Arrests At Steelers Game Among NFL's Highest
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A new report shows arrests during Pittsburgh Steelers games are among the highest in the National Football League.
The Washington Post reports that between 2011 and 2015 arrests during Steelers games were the 5th highest in the league.
The Post found that, on average, 16.8 arrests are made during games played at Heinz Field.
The San Diego Chargers had the league's highest arrests, with more than 24 arrested per game.
The New York Giants, New York Jets were 2nd and 3rd.
The Oakland Raiders were 4th.
Among those with the lowest number of arrests during NFL games.
The Seattle Seahawks were at the bottom with less than 1 arrest at every game.
They were followed by the Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Houston Texans and Carolina Panthers.
Data shows that division games and night games result in considerably more fan arrests. The later the kickoff, the greater likelihood of arrests.
