Orpik & Pens Look To End The Thrashers Winning Streak
The Fan Morning Show's Jim Colony caught up with Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik after a slow start to the season because he was playing his way back into shape.
The Penguins face the Atlanta Thrashers tonight and Orpik talks to Colony about the Thrashers turn around as a team and organization. Orpik homes the teams turnaround will be good for the league as team becomes more competitive.
Both teams ride a multi-game winning streak into tonight's match-up and Orpik looks forward to a good hockey match. The Thrashers have become more consistent they way they play because they got rid of some players that were doing their own thing and are now playing as a team, Orpik said.
Orpik tells Colony about the reason why the Penguins penalty killing has been improved over their seven game winning streak.
