Bouchette Breaks Down The Steelers Win
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Post Gazette Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette joins the FAN Morning Show to recap the Steelers win over their division rival, the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional playoff game.
Bryant McFadden, Flozell Adams and Jonathan Scott were injured in Saturday's game. While Bouchette said Scott and Adams will both be fine, there is still no word on McFadden's condition.
Surprised at how involved rookie wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown were on Saturday, Bouchette said he thinks they should look to Hines Ward more when the team is in the red zone because he is "magic" around the end zone.
Bouchette expects a close game against the Jets in the AFC Championship game, but he doesn't think there will be as much emotion from the Jets this Sunday.
Heading into the championship game, Bouchette is concerned with the Steelers run defense. Though the Steelers were ranked number one in run defense this season -- only allowing 1,004 yards, two teams rushed for over 100 yards against them: the New England Patriots and the New York Jets.
The Jets rushed for 106 total yards in the Week 15 game at Heinz Field.
