Bouchette Breaks Down The Steelers
Post-Gazette Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette joined Ron Cook, who is filling in for the Fan Morning Show, to recap Week 16 in the NFL. Bouchette was not surprised the Cleveland Browns couldn't help out the the Steelers by beating the Baltimore Ravens.
According to Bouchette, the Browns' performance didn't create a cause for concern heading into the final game of the season and expects a Steelers win on Sunday. He does think QB Colt McCoy could hurt the Steelers if he's on his game.
The Steelers dominated the game on Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers, but were unable to reach the end zone when they were inside the 20-yard line. If they are not able to reach the end zone, it will come back to bite them, Bouchette said.
Bochette told Cook that the Steelers do look like a Super Bowl contending team, but they will have to go through the best team in the NFL in New England.
The Steelers are heading into the final week of the NFL regular season needing a win against the Browns to secure a first-round bye in the playoffs. Bouchette and Cook discuss the pros and cons of starting and playing all the starters in this Sunday's game.
After Thursday's game, the NFL Network aired a show of the Top 10 All-Time Steelers. Both Bouchette and Cook completely disagree with the list and don't think you can have a Top 10 list without including Jack Hamm.
