Police: Toddler Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Point Breeze
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police say a toddler has died after being struck by a vehicle in the city's Point Breeze neighborhood.
Police say it happened at about 5:15 p.m. Monday at the 1700 block of S. 21st Street.
Police say the two-year-old boy was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia with severe head injuries. Police say he was pronounced dead at 6:09 p.m.
Police say the vehicle, a para-transit bus, remained at the scene. There was no suspicion of driving under the influence, according to investigators.
Police are investigating.
