Police: Man Injured After Elevator Drops 10 Floors In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A man was injured after an elevator suddenly dropped 10 floors. The victim was working on a building near 2nd and Norris Streets in North Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon.
Police say a cable snapped and the elevator fell down the shaft.
Paramedics took the man to Temple University Hospital.
There is no word on his condition.
