Phillies Activate Rollins; Utley to See Concussion Specialist
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Phillies have activated shortstop Jimmy Rollins off the 15-day disabled list. He had been placed on the DL on August 22nd after suffering a strained right groin muscle the day before in a game in Washington.
Rollins is hitting .268 this season, with 14 home runs and 58 runs batted in.
Meanwhile, second baseman Chase Utley, who took an Eric O'Flaherty fast ball off the helmet last night (see related story), did not travel with the team to Milwaukee for tonight's game with the Brewers. Instead, he is remaining in Philadelphia to see a concussion specialist.
