This week's weather will continue to pull away from the chill that settled into the region to close out last week as a warm front pushes north of the region this morning.

This warm front will bring some extra clouds and even a few light sprinkles, but as the warm front moves north, we'll have a mix of sun and clouds develop Monday afternoon as temperatures climb into the mid-upper 60s.

Monday afternoon and most of the evening will be dry, but later tonight, a cold front will approach the region. Ahead of the cold front, there will be widespread showers and storms, some of which will be on the strong to severe side west of our area.

As we lose the heat of the day, the storms will weaken, and that will coincide with when they are expected to arrive in our area.

Rain with a couple of thunderstorms is expected to start moving in from the west between 10-11 p.m. and then move across the Delaware Valley around midnight. The area of showers and storms will continue to move east across the area and be over the ocean before the Tuesday morning commute.
