Cold, dry Sunday with light winds in Philadelphia for Eagles game, warmer temps on the way
Sunday is a big day for Eagles fans, with a 4:25 p.m. kickoff against the Washington Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field. Expect mixed skies, light winds and temperatures in the mid-30s.
If you're heading out to heading to the game, you'll want the jacket, hat and gloves, but you won't need an umbrella or snow removal tools.
NEXT big weather change
Many kids are heading back to school this week, which will start off chilly with 20s in the morning and highs below average – but warmth is on the way!
In fact, a warmer trend looks to lead us through the majority of next week with high temperatures running near or even slightly warmer than normal by Tuesday.
High temperatures next Wednesday and Thursday may be into the mid-low 50s with overnight lows actually staying above freezing.
Then again on Friday and Saturday we'll see a greater chance for rain and warmer temps as southerly winds usher in the mid-upper 50s! The forecast models are waiving a bit on when the rain will arrive but the trend is more toward Friday night and Saturday.
Once the front rolls through temps will have a steep drop off, so right now your Sunday is looking significantly colder than Saturday, but dry.
Here's your 7-day forecast:
