Chestnut Street Bridge Reopens After 2 Years Of Construction
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Following two years of construction, a Center City bridge has reopened. The Chestnut Street Bridge over the Schuylkill River opened back up to cars, pedestrians, and cyclists Saturday night.
PennDOT completed work to re-deck the eastbound connection between University City and Center City.
Crews also repaired and repainted the bridge's steel superstructure.
