BB Gun Prompts Lockdown At Northeast Philly Schools; Teen Arrested
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police arrested a teenager Friday morning after he was spotted with a gun in Northeast Philadelphia.
It turned out to be just a BB gun, but the handcuffs were real.
Authorities say the situation caused quite a scare and prompted a brief lockdown at nearby Lincoln High School and Austin Meehan Middle School.
The student was located on a SEPTA bus and taken into custody.
The teen has not been identified.
Authorities are investigating.
