Accident Involving Police Car Closes Tacony Palmyra Bridge
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A car collided with a Delaware River Port Authority police cruiser early Thursday morning on the Tacony Palmyra Bridge, forcing the bridge to close.
The accident happened just after 1 a.m on the New Jersey side of the bridge.
The bridge was closed in both directions, but re-opened around 5:30 a.m.
There's no word yet if anyone involved was injured. The accident is under investigation.
