The heat will persist this afternoon with even more uncomfortable dew points -- feels like temps will be right around 100°!
High pressure will remain in place through today, with plentiful sunshine overhead. The humidity will be up, as well, with highs in the upper 80s.

We're in for some heat this afternoon as the mercury soars into the low to mid 90s. And when combined with the humidity, it will feel more like the mid to upper 90s -- stay cool!
Expect any storms that popped up to wind down through the evening, but it will remain cloudy, muggy and quite warm overnight.
It will be a sticky warmth this afternoon. And we could see a few passing showers or an isolated t-storm, but the focus will be inland.
Another unsettled day around the region with showers and storms developing. The strongest will be west of the city where some more sun will break out.
While our highs will only be in the low 90s, it will feel more like 95-100° with the humidity.
