Officers raided an apartment around 7:40 p.m. Thursday on Willis Avenue near 140th Street in the Mott Haven section and took several people into custody.
The suspect first struck on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Gold Palace Jewelry on East Fordham Road in the Bronx.
It happened just before 9 a.m. Thursday morning on Jerome Avenue in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx.
Police said a 37-year-old bystander confronted the shooter and took away his gun, but the suspect fled before officers arrived.
Surveillance video shows one of the suspects come out of nowhere and kick the man in the chest, knocking him onto the pavement and causing him to hit his head.
According to the NYPD, he was kicked in the chest and knocked unconscious after falling back and hitting his head.
