The painting, called "Salvator Mundi," Italian for "Savior of the World," is one of fewer than 20 paintings by Leonardo known to exist and the only one in private hands.
A painting thought by scholars to be one of only a few by Leonardo da Vinci to have survived the half-millennia since the artist's death is set to be auctioned Wednesday in New York, where it is guaranteed to sell for at least $100 million.
A new multimedia installation in Manhattan will offer new ways to see and interpret Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Last Supper.''
It's the first major restoration of the McKim-designed space since the building opened in 1906. It will reopen Oct. 30.
