The former president's Facebook and Instagram privileges were suspended after the January 6, 2021 assault on the U.S. Capitol.
Earlier this month, Trump's presidential campaign asked Meta to reinstate him on the social media platform.
Facebook's parent company Meta says it will restore former President Donald Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts in the coming weeks.
While both accounts were still visible as of Sunday evening, several posts had been removed.
