Woman Struck, Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver In Harlem

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 21-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday in Harlem.

The woman was struck happened around 4:30 a.m. at 133rd Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, police said.

The driver, who was headed south on Frederick Douglass Boulevard at the time, fled the scene before turning himself in.

On Saturday afternoon the victim was identified as Taja Johnson, 21, of Mount Vernon.
