Woman Broke Barriers While Breaking Stories
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- She was breaking barriers as she was breaking stories. Belva Davis was the first African American television reporter on the West Coast and during her distinguished career she earned multiple Emmy and lifetime achievement awards.
Now she has chronicled her amazing achievements over her nearly 50-year career in a new book called "Never in my Wildest Dreams, A Black Woman's Life in Journalism."
Davis stopped by CBS 2 to speak about her new book with Cindy Hsu.
